Angela Hughes, also known as Taco, discovered pickleball as a way to cope with some personal challenges and found joy in playing and teaching the game.

Angela started with beginner lessons in April 2023 and quickly advanced to intermediate level. She loves talking about pickleball and inviting others to try it. She has completed her IPTPA certification and now also enjoys teaching pickleball with the Clemmer Classic team.

Angela lives in Murphy with her husband and they have two grown sons, two dogs and a cat. She likes eating tacos and supporting her favorite sport teams, especially the Oklahoma State Cowboys.
