We have met so many amazing new pickleball players through Clemmer Classic Pickleball Lessons. They always ask, "now that we know the basics, where can we go play?" Finding pickleball courts where Open Play is offered is a great way to practice your pickleball skills in a game situation.
Here is a list of indoor and outdoor pickleball facilities in North Dallas (Disclaimer - this is not an all-inclusive list and facilities are constantly changing times, rates etc. so always contact the facility directly for the latest pickleball details). Additionally, you can always search USA Pickleball Places 2 Play Pickleball to find pickleball courts near you.
Here's some basic guidelines for Open Play:
Place your paddle in one of the racks, stacking left to right, to begin.
Be respectful of others on the court.
Refrain from talking excessively during open play.
If you are waiting for a game, please be patient and wait your turn.
If you need to leave the court for any reason, please let the other players know so they can rearrange the game to complete the match.
Be aware of your skill level and play accordingly.
After your match, place your paddle back in the designated racks, “victors” or “challengers”, depending on the outcome of your match.
Get out there and connect with the local pickleball community!
