USA Pickleball Ambassador Luncheon

This past week, Staci Clemmer (founder of Clemmer Classic) and Twyla Weatherford had the opportunity to attend the USA Pickleball Ambassador Luncheon.

There were so many inspirational leaders in attendance. For example, Bob Franceschelli sat at their table. Bob is currently serving a second term as a USAP Board Member, Level 2 USAP Referee and Level 2 Certifiied IPTPA Instructor.

They discussed the International Federation of Pickleball (ITF) - the ITF is the highest governing body for the sport of pickleball. The organization was first established in 2010 by the USA Pickleball Association (USAPA) now USA Pickleball (USAP).

Ambassadors are volunteers who have pledged to promote the sport of pickleball and the USA Pickleball in the local area that they represent. They are individuals or couples who work with the communities, clubs, and other various recreational facilities to guide and help build pickleball programs for all to enjoy. These Ambassadors work together as a teams within their Districts and across their Region to enhance the development of the USA Pickleball and pickleball. The main prerequisite is a love of the sport and the desire to share our game with others of all ages.
